Safety & Training

Accurate Electrics Safety Training consists of many topics from various sources. At Orientation new hires are given training on hazard recognition, accident prevention, personal protective equipment, hazardous materials training, and other subjects from our Company Safety Policy and Procedure Manual. Our Foremen attend OSHA 10-hour safety training classes conducted by an OSHA certified trainer and first aid and CPR training are provided by the American Red Cross. In continuing effort to provide safe work environments, Foremen lead safety discussions with his/her crew on a weekly basis. Our employees are also instructed on the safe use of heavy equipment.

Because safety is top priority, the Safety Director makes frequent site visitations and continuously checks on the conditions of our job sites to ensure proper safety precautions are being followed and enforced.

Accurate Electric has a Written Hazard Communication Program in place to further protect the well being of our employees. We willingly adhere to all City, State, and Federal safety requirements.

Accurate Electric Construction, Inc. takes great pride in installing its work in accordance with specifications and within code. We believe that it is our responsibility to enforce a quality standard that exceeds the merely acceptable.

In order to achieve our quality goals, we utilize every tier of management, from the president to the first year apprentice. We make it our business to be on our projects and see our installations first hand. Project managers make frequent site visitations and continually check their projects to ensure proper material installation and total compliance with all specifications. Ideas and suggestions for better methods of installation are always encouraged and welcome by management.

Accurate Electric Construction, Inc. is guided by its uncompromising belief that the highest quality of installation must always be met. We believe that this attitude filters to all levels of our organization, creating an atmosphere where pride in workmanship prevails.

The goal of the Accurate Electric quality control program is to perform sufficient inspection and testing of all items of work, including that of subcontractors. The program exists to ensure conformance to applicable specifications and drawings with respect to the materials, equipment, workmanship, fabrication, construction, finish, functional performance, and identification that accompany any given project. Accurate Electric will provide surveillance, testing data, and submittals in accordance with the technical provisions of the contract specifications, including applicable on-site inspections.

The project manager and job superintendent (foreman) have been given the responsibility and authority to ensure that a project is carried forward with the quality of materials and quality of workmanship that is specified in the project plans and specifications. The job superintendent controls the direct labor in the field, including the workmanship provided by all subcontractors. Our superintendents ensure that any materials delivered on site from designated suppliers are in good working order and in the correct amount.

All subcontractors, as a part of their contract, are informed of the responsibility and authority of the project manager and job superintendent to act on behalf of the officers of this company. The job superintendent has the authority to recommend to the project manager the dismissal of employees and subcontractors who, in his opinion, are not carrying the work forward in a manner consistent with Accurate Electric’s standard of high quality.
